Indore: Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh targeted BJP’s national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya without taking his name and said that those talking about toppling the government on their boss’ order are living in illusion. “It is not them but their proud that is speaking. We have permanent people not those can be sold (Hamare pass tikau log he bikau nahi). Those thinking of toppling the government are wrong and they should be concerned about the forthcoming Lok Sabha election,” Singh said while talking to media in a programme on Saturday evening.

He said that people were saying in 2014 that Congress should prepare for 2024 as Modi will return to power in 2019. “Now, even those people have raised their doubts on their statement and they have started talking about poor chances of BJP in 2019 elections,” he said adding “BJP claims to get 300+ seats but they wouldn’t get even 180 seats in 2019.”

Talking about his Narmada Yatra, Singh said, “My Narmada Yatra was not politically based but people met me during the yatra had cleared that they wanted a change from the corrupt BJP government.” Singh added that Shivraj Singh Chouhan became alone in assembly elections similarly to him when he had became alone in 2003.
