Indore Crime Roundup: Youths Attacked With Knife, Iron Rod In Two Separate Incidents

The police registered a case against the accused for attempted murder and detained some of the accused.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A group of miscreants attacked three youths with a knife and iron rod after pelting stones on the victims' car under MIG police station limits, an official said on Monday. The police registered a case against the accused for attempted murder and detained some of the accused.

According to the police, a group of miscreants late Sunday night attacked Rohan, Deepak and Pratham over an old enmity to show their dominance. The accused also pelted stones at the victims' car and stabbed Rohan after hitting Deepak and Pratham with an iron rod. The injured were rushed to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

Youth, companion stabbed

In another similar incident, a youth and his companion were stabbed by three persons over an old enmity under Pardeshipura police station limits on Sunday night. The incident occurred in the Kulkarni Ka Bhatta area at 8:45 pm and police registered a case for attempt to murder against the accused. According to the police, one Adesh Hanumant lodged a complaint stating that Babu alias Anil, Shravan and Sanjay abused and assaulted his friend Kapil Yadav.

When he objected, Babu took out a knife and stabbed him in his chest, causing him to bleed. When the complainant tried to rescue his friend Kapil, he too got injured by the same knife. The police registered a case against the accused under sections 109, 296, 351(3), 3(5) of the BNS and further investigation is underway.
