Three Booked For Assaulting Man For Money
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Three people were booked for assaulting a man for money and posing as crime branch officials, police said on Sunday. According to the police, three people, including a man posing as a crime branch officer, assaulted a person and tried to extort money from him by implicating him in a false case in the Aerodrome area.
A case was registered against Vanshika Verman, Anirudha and Ajay Panwar on the complaint of the victim, Ankush Kumar. He stated that the accused called him on the pretext of taking a franchise of the salon and café on December 24.
They took him to a deserted place in his car and asked him whether he knew Vanshika. When he confirmed that she had taken his franchise earlier, the accused demanded Rs 15 lakh and threatened that Vanshika would file a case against him and send him to jail.
After snatching his mobile phone, one of them, Ajay, claimed that he was from the crime branch. They assaulted him and took him towards court to do the paperwork for the money. Then the victim called his friends on which the accused fled from the scene. The police registered a case against the accused under sections 308(2), 115(2), 296, 351(3), 3(5) of the BNS.

Four Held For Selling Chinese Manjha In Separate Incidents
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Four individuals were arrested in separate incidents for selling banned kite-flying thread Chinese manjha in MG road and Central Kotwali police station areas.
The Chinese manjha is banned in Indore by the commissioner of police, considering the safety of citizens.
According to the police, Vansh Yadav of Marimata was caught selling Chinese manjha near Shastri Market Square on Friday, while Rudhra Gupta of Omaxe City and Arfat Mev of Mewati Mohalla were caught selling the banned material in Nayapura Gali on Saturday.
One Fareedh Khan was also caught on Saturday while selling Chinese manjha on Pathar Godown road. The police registered cases against all the accused under section 223 of the BNS.
