Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The BJP’s mayoral candidate, Pushyamitra Bhargav, went on an election campaign in the Assembly constituency No. 2. During a public interaction, Bhargav said that small vegetable vendors or vendors of other items will not be troubled by the corporation for recovery of fines imposed on them. They will get an opportunity to pay the fine in instalments. All types of footpath vendors will be given opportunities to earn their livelihood with respect.

Targeting the Congress, he said that Congress leaders were addressing the team of the municipal corporation as “Yellow Gang” members and making agendas out of things which were not at all an agenda. Law and order and rules are enforced and some employees may commit mistakes, but, just because of that, the entire corporation should not be blamed.

“This gang only provided facilities to the public during the corona crisis and also made Indore the number one city in cleanliness,” said Bhargav during the campaign. He added that no vendor’s cart will be broken and, in fact, the corporation will provide them the facility of earning a livelihood with full respect.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Path Kar Yojana, the corporation, itself, had given loans to those doing business on the footpath and other facilities would also be provided, he added.
