Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The city police have launched the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga – Har Ghar Swachhta Abhiyan’. A tricolour bike rally was also flagged off on the occasion.

The campaign will run until August 15 to inspire citizens to hoist the national flag with pride and promote cleanliness ahead of Independence Day.

Under the guidance of commissioner of police Santosh Kumar Singh, additional commissioners Amit Singh (Law & Order) and Manoj Kumar Srivastava (Crime/Headquarters) inaugurated the campaign by unveiling a selfie point and flagging off a tricolour bike rally.

Over 500 police personnel, along with members of Nagar Suraksha Samiti participated in the rally, carrying the national flag on two-wheelers and in their hands.

The rally began from the Police Commissioner’s Office in Palasia and concluded at Rajwada, passing through Ghantaghar and Regal Square. Police officials urged citizens to hoist the tricolour at their homes with pride, honour the symbol of national unity and celebrate Independence Day with a commitment to cleanliness.

The rally aimed to instil patriotism, encourage participation in the campaign and spread awareness about the importance of both national pride and a clean environment.
