Indore (Madhya Pradesh): CA Indore Branch of the ICAI organised a food packet and educational kit distribution campaign to take forward the CA Day programme.
All the chartered accountants of the city collected a huge amount of money and made this programme successful. With the collected amount, the Indore Branch managing committee distributed more than 500 food packets and more than 100 educational kits to poor children. This distribution was done in the settlements located at Niranjanpur, Kabitkhedi and Mahalaxmi Nagar.
CA Anand Jain, chairman of Indore Branch, said it had always been the endeavour of the branch that it should do some work not only for its members, but also for society, whether it is the work of plantation or cleanliness and hygiene. “To help the poor section, we should give back to society what we’ve received from nature and society by some means or the other,” Jain said.
SICASA chairman Swarnim Gupta said it would be their endeavour to organise such events not only once a year but regularly. At this programme, secretary Rajat Dhanuk, Atishay Khasgiwala, Amitesh Jain and Mausam Rathi distributed food packets.
