Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A wave of outrage swept through the city as thousands gathered at Rajwada Chowk on Thursday to protest the recent killings of Hindus in Pahalgam.

The demonstration was organised by Hindu Rakshak, a local organisation, following the Tuesday attack in which members of the Hindu community were murdered.

Protesters, including women and members of the kinnar (transgender) community, condemned the incident and expressed their anguish in a unique manner—by signing a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister with their own blood.

The letter demanded strict action against the perpetrators and highlighted the growing concern of targeted violence against Hindus in the region.

The protestors stated that the silence of national leadership on such issues was deeply painful and urged the Prime Minister to ensure justice and protection for Hindu’s in Jammu & Kashmir. “This is not just an attack on people, it’s an attack on faith and identity,” said one of the demonstrators.

Hindu Rakshak representatives informed that a copy of the blood-signed memorandum has been dispatched to New Delhi. They emphasised that such incidents should not be ignored and called for stronger national policies to safeguard vulnerable communities.

The protest saw participation from various social and religious organisations, as well as local citizens, sending a powerful message of unity and demand for justice.
