Indore: With state government announcing Covid-19 vaccination mahaabhiyan (extensive campaign) from Yoga Day on June 21, district collector Manish Singh has constituted assembly constituency-wise teams that will motivate all to get shots for prevention from coronavirus infection.
Singh stated that the extensive campaign for Covid-19 vaccination will be held from June 21 to June 30. He appealed to the people to get themselves inoculated.
For the successful and effective implementation of the campaign, Singh has formed a constituency-wise joint team of officers of district administration, police, municipal corporation and panchayat and rural development department. Assembly area wise additional collector, additional superintendent of police, SDM, sub-divisional officer (police), additional municipal commissioners and chief executive officer of janpad panchayat have been given various responsibilities.
The said officers, coordinating with the legislators of the concerned area will implement the Covid-19 vaccination campaign as per the instructions of the government.
Singh has directed that it will be the responsibility of the additional collectors that they will execute this campaign in an effective manner.
