Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 29-year-old chartered accountant from Pune tragically died after suffering a cardiac arrest while attending a wedding in Indore.

The incident occurred at a marriage garden on CAT Road, where his health suddenly deteriorated during the celebrations. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to the condition during treatment.

The deceased, identified as Ayush Vyas, a resident of Sampat Hills, Pune, had come to Indore to attend the wedding festivities. According to Gandhi Nagar police, Ayush was actively participating in the wedding procession (Baraat) on Saturday evening before joining the main event at the garden when he collapsed.

A post-mortem examination conducted by Dr Bharat Vajpayee, forensic expert at the district hospital, revealed that Ayush died due to cardiac arrest. The examination also uncovered a rare medical condition - his heart arteries were unusually hardened, which is uncommon in someone so young.

“The arteries of his heart showed severe hardening, which is very rare at his age,” said Dr Vajpayee. Further samples, including viscera, have been preserved for detailed laboratory analysis.

In a touching gesture amidst the tragedy, Ayush’s family has decided to donate his eyes, offering hope to those in need of corneal transplants.
