Indore (Madhya Pradesh): As it approaches its 100th year, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has resolved to deepen its roots in society with a renewed focus on social transformation, organizational consolidation, and the expansion of Shakhas (daily gatherings). This vision was laid out during the provincial meeting of RSS Malwa province, which began on Friday in Jawra.

The gathering opened with the message of building a harmonious, organized Hindu society—a goal RSS believes is essential for global peace and prosperity. Malwa Prant Karyavah Vineet Navathe presented the annual report of the province during the opening session.

On Saturday, Joint Secretary Ramdattji Chakradhar detailed the action plan for the centenary year. He reiterated the Sangh’s resolve of social transformation and talked about the importance of expanding RSS activities, strengthening organizational infrastructure, and prioritizing quality over quantity in outreach efforts.

The centenary celebrations will begin on Vijayadashami, marked by uniformed processions and gatherings at the Mandal-Basti level. These events will be held with the aim of mobilising and reconnecting RSS volunteers, while creating public awareness about the organisation’s work.

During the campaign special attention would be laid on extensive door-to-door outreach, where volunteers will engage with citizens and distribute Sangh literature. Additionally, Social Harmony Meetings are planned to foster inclusive Hindu unity, breaking caste barriers and encouraging community leadership.

Citizen-centric seminars will be held to address questions about the role and mission of the Sangh, and to reinforce society’s leadership in solving social challenges.

During the centenary year Hindu Conferences are planned at over 2,000 locations across Malwa-Nimar. These gatherings aim to activate Jagran Tolis, promote sensitive and responsible leadership, and build Sajjan Shakti—a network of virtuous citizens capable of addressing grassroots issues.

To ensure RSS presence in every village and settlement, a special action plan for Shakha expansion is being prepared.

The event is being attended by the provincial executive, heads of eight Sangh departments, and representatives from 28 districts. The three-day meeting will conclude on Sunday evening, setting the tone for the centenary celebrations ahead.
