Indore: Director, Health Department Santosh Mishra suspended an MPW and an ANM with immediate effect and also halted three increment of a sector in- charge of Makodia Primary Health Centre, on Monday.
While inspecting health centres, Mishra took the action against them for apathy. He also reprimanded the doctors and staff and directed them to improve facilities of the hospitals. Mishra also inspected Malharganj Polyclinic, District Hospital, Primary Health Centres at Sanver and Makodia.
According to CMHO Dr Ashok Dagaria, three increments of sector in- charge Dr Ashok Verma have been halted whereas MPW Sanjay Verma and ANM Nafeesa Khan have been suspended. Sources said that Mishra also expressed his displeasure over the state of affairs in the OT at Malharganj Polyclinic and ordered the doctors to attend the evening OPD.
