Eye specialists discuss new techniques in Optometrist’s workshop

Indore : A workshop for Optometrist’s “Meet- 2015” was organized jointly by the Indore Divisional Optometrists Association and Vinayak Netralaya on 1st November, Sunday.

Dr Sharad Pandit Joint Director, M.P. government was the chief guest and special guests were Dr.Anand Rai & Dr. S. L. Porwal (CMHO) of the event. Dr. Pranay Singh and Dr. S. S. Verma from Vinayak Hospital were also present at the workshop. Dr. Sharad Pandit assured the eye specialists of removal of the problems in the state. Dr. S. L. Porwal said about providing all the possible help.

Dr. S. S. Verma talked about the new techniques in the field at the seminar. RR. Pranay Singh told about the advanced techniques for cataract treatment. This information was given by Dr. Shailendra Vaishnav, Chairman, Indore Divisional Optometrists Association. The workshop “Meet – 2015” was attended by eye and vision specialists in large numbers. Dr. Sharad Pandit said that eye examinations done by untrained and unauthorized persons taking place at opticals will be checked and action would be taken against them. The direction was done by Dr. Shailendra Vaishnav. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Pranay Singh and Dr. S. S. Verma of Vinayak Hospital.
