Indore: Social group Abhyas mandal will organise an 8-day summer lecture series at Jal auditorium from May 24. The event is being organised to create awareness about social issues like revival of Khan and Sarswati rivers, better railway service, smooth traffic in city and preservation of heritage buildings of the city.
Ashok Kothari, member of Abhayas Mandal, while informing about the 55th summer lecture series to be organised by the group said, “The speakers and the topics of the lectures have been planned and Ashok Desai, renowned economist has been specially invited from Kolkatta to be a part of this event and share his views here.”
SY Quershi, former chief of Election commission will inaugurate the event on May 24 at 6 pm and will give a lecture on the role of India in world history. Kailsah Vijayvargia is to supervise the whole vent.
