Indore: A bandmaster was killed when he accidentally fell from the second floor of a building in Khajuri Bazaar, on Thursday night.
After getting information, Sarafa police reached the spot and found an elderly person lying in a pool of blood on the road. He was taken to the hospital but could not be saved.
The deceased, identified as Vinod Baroth ( 57), was a native of Nagda. Sarafa ASI MS Chohan said that as per the preliminary inquiry, Vinod was a bandmaster in Malwa Band and was a drunkard. He used to live on the second floor of the building along with his colleagues. At the time of incident, his colleagues were sleeping in another room.
Sources said that he might have lost his balance and fell from the window. However, the police are also investigating the possibility of suicide or murder angle. Police informed his family members, living in Nagda.
