Indore: At least three flights and as many trains were delayed on Wednesday due to dense fog cover in the city. Flights and trains, to and from the city were reportedly late than the scheduled timings. Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport authority claimed that three flights were delayed due to thick fog cover in the city. Air India flight from Mumbai was delayed from its scheduled timing of 7.15.
the flight left for Delhi after half an hour. Whereas, Jet Airways flight from Delhi arrived here 1.40 minutes late. Also, Jet Airways flight from Ahmedabad reached here 1.40 minutes late from its scheduled timing of 8am.
Also, several passenger and express trains coming to and going out of Indore were also reported running late. According to Northern Railway data, Nizamuddin Express arrives 15 minutes late from the scheduled timings and Malwa Express was running late by 2 hours while Kota Intercity was reportedly late as well.
