Indore : In the run-up to 5th semester exams, the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) said that it would declare all the pending results including of BSc second semester within a fortnight.
“All the pending results will be declared within 15 days,” Prajwal Khare, Deputy Registrar (exams) said. He said that the DAVV had announced results of all the traditional courses expect BSc II semester exams.
“The BSc II semester results will also be declared shortly. Besides, all the review and revaluation results of traditional courses will also be declare before November 20,” he added.
He said that the university would commence the fifth semester exams in the last week of November. The exams tentatively will start on November 27.
At present, students are submitting examination forms for the fifth semester exams. The last date to submit the forms is November 10 without late fee and November 18 with late fee.
The DAVV has decided to commence the fifth semester exams of undergraduate courses in the last week of November and the first and third semester exams in the third week of December.
Generally, all the odd semesters’ exams are conducted simultaneously but this year the DAVV has decided to hold the fifth semester exams separately in view of Simhastha-2016, which is to be held in Ujjain in April.
“We want the sixth semester exams to be held ahead of Simhastha anyhow so that the graduates can apply for admission in PG courses on time. Following the plan, we have decided to hold the fifth semester exams separately in the last week of November,” said Khare.
The university has planned to hold the fifth semester exams separately so that the exams are completed early and subsequently results are announced by December end.
Once the fifth semester exams are completed, the DAVV would commence exams for the first and third semesters, tentatively, in the third week of December.
