Court to Lok Ayukta police: File report on December 6

Indore: The Special Court, constituted under the Prevention of Corruption Act, on Tuesday, directed the Lok Ayukta police to file investigation report in the matter related to State Ministers Kamal Patel, Jayant Mallaiya and others and fixed the next date of hearing on December 6. The matter relates to a stay on development of Housing Board colony on the land of Khajrana Jagir.

Special Public Prosecutor Saket Vyas made an application to the court in which it was stated that Lok Ayukta police was directed to submit the investigation report in the matter and that Lok Ayukta Police was making preliminary investigations and sought some time to submit the report.

Following strong objection from the defence counsel, the Special Court of Judge, GS Dube took cognizance of the documents submitted to the court by the Director General of Lok Ayukta and directed it to submit the report on December 6, the next date of hearing in the matter.
