Indore: Determined to enhance the polling percentage in Lok Sabha election, the District Election Office has decided to invite 7 NRI voters of the district to cast their vote in the election on May 19. And guess what? To have a local connect… the invitation card is in Malwi language.

This is a part of the Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Practices (SVEEP) drive launched for the voters’ awareness.  District Election Officer Lokesh Kumar Jatav, SVEEP Nodal Officer Neha Meena, Deputy District Election Officer Pratul Sinha released the invitation cards here at his office on Friday.

The best thing about the card is that it connects locals with sweetness of Malwi language. Meena said, “we have the postal addresses of NRI voters from the electorates’ list. Accordingly, cards will be sent to them. She said we are applying all measures to increase the polling percentage in the LS election.
