Collector Awasthi inspects damaged banana crops

Burhanpur: Due to the heavy windstorm on Monday evening, most of the crops of bananas were destroyed. To inspect the damage suffered by the farmers, collector Ashutosh Awasthi and CEO district Panchayat Sureshwar Singh visited Khamni and Bhawasa village. He also instructed the officials of revenue department to form a team for conducting the immediate survey.

During the inspection, Awasthi directed the Khamni revenue inspector Varun Upadhyay to conduct the survey work and to solve the problems of the farmers as soon as possible.
