Chouhan promises Rs 18,000 crore industries for Ratlam

CM asks voters to compare work done by BJP and Congress

Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Ratlam to host an election meeting and a road show in support of authorised BJP Candidates including BJP mayor candidate Prahalad Patel in municipal elections.

While addressing the gathering, CM said the people of Ratlam hold a very special place in my heart and asked them to compare with honesty the work done by Congress and BJP in Ratlam. He also promised that the civic amenities will be developed in the city by repairing the drinking water and sewage systems. He also promised that industries worth Rs 18,000 crore will be established that would provide employment to about 25,000 people.

Chouhan criticised Kamal Nath the former CM for always lamenting the lack of money and blaming him for the empty state treasury. He said that Ratlam is the holy land of Lord Shiva, Goddess Kali, Saree, Gold and Sev.

The CM was welcomed by Jhabua– Ratlam MP Guman Singh Damor, Ratlam urban MLA Chetanya Kashyap, rural MLA Dilip Makwan, senior BJP leader and former cabinet minister Himmat Kothari along with Independent mayor candidate Janak Nagal, who has joined the BJP.

The roadshow started from Nayagaon and after covering major points of the city reached Raniji's temple, where the meeting took place. At the temple, the CM prayed for the victory of the party’s mayoral candidate as well as all other BJP candidates.

The BJP leaders along with the social and business organizations of the town welcomed the roadshow at various intersections. While addressing the rally he said Bharatiya Janata Party has done many development works in Ratlam. Basic facilities such as drinking water facilities, roads, and sewage treatment have been improved in the town.
