According to information, the intruders cut through an iron grill before heading straight to the room of the judge’s son, where the family was sleeping.
They broke open a cupboard, and stole over ₹5 lakh in cash along with gold and silver jewellery. Despite an alarm sounding, neither the family nor the security guard woke up, allowing the thieves to flee unhindered.

No fingerprints found
Police said the burglars were wearing gloves and left no fingerprints at the scene. Forensic teams and sniffer dogs have been deployed and multiple teams are working to trace the accused.
Police suspect the notorious Baag Tanda gang from Dhar or Dewas may be behind the incident, which took place along with four other thefts and an attempted burglary in Indore’s Khudel, Simrole, and Kanadiya areas on the same night.
The suspects have been captured on various CCTV cameras and arrests will be made soon, police added.
