Burhanpur: Khankar police nabs youth with five illegal country-made pistols

Burhanpur: With the big action of Khaknar police, an accused from village Pachauri has been arrested with five illegal country-made pistols.

Superintendent of Police Rahul Kumar Lodha had instructed the Khaknar police station to take strict action by activating the information system on the illegal business of country-made pistol manufacturing and transportation in village Pachauri.

In accordance with the above instructions, under the guidance of additional superintendent of police Abhishek Dewan and SDOP Nepanagar Yashpal Singh Thakur, a special team was formed under the leadership of the station in-charge Khaknar KP Dhurve.

In this episode, information was received that Vinod of village Pachauri is keeping illegal weapons with him, which is going to be taken towards Khaknar.

On the information, the station in-charge Khaknar Dhurve teamed up with Sakharam Pagare and caught the accused after being laid siege near Matanadi culvert on Pachauri Khaknar road, while inquiring, he named himself Vinod son of Brar Singh resident of village Pachauri.

While searching him, one pistol was found in his pant near the waist on the right side, one on the left and 3 in the seat of the motorcycle, a total of five pistols were recovered from him.

Support of head constable Manoj More, Gajendra Singh Rawat, Akshay Dubey, Suresh Senani, Sohan Sejkar and others was commendable in the said action.
