Indore : Irate by the myriad of complaints against senior consultants and other staff of MY Hospital for not providing proper services and time in the hospital, the MGM Medical College has decided to install biometric machines to check the working hours of the staff. Tenders for the machines have been called and it will be installed at the earliest.
The college administration said that not only the junior staff but the Dean, Superintendent and other senior consultants will have to register their attendance through the machine. Along with these, the doctors will have to submit a daily report of their work as well.
“College administration has been getting complaints against the senior doctors who are not giving their full time in the hospital and in the OPD. Even, the lower staff was also not attending their full duty,” sources said.
They further added that now, college administration will monitor the timing and attendance of the staff along with checking their daily work report.
“Currently, the doctors of Health Department are submitting their daily report to the department and now, the doctors of MY Hospital will also do the same,” sources said adding “earlier, machines were installed to monitor the time of nursing staff but it didn’t work. This time, machines will be installed in front of CCTV cameras to ensure the safety.”
“We have called the tenders of biometric thumb impression machines. These machines will be installed at MGM Medical College, MY Hospital and OPD,” Dean of MGM Medical Dr MK Rathore said.
