Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Three persons, including a couple, were killed after a car, they were travelling, collided head-on with a truck in Raisen district. The police registered a case and started an investigation.
The deceased belonged to Ujjain district and had gone to Ganjbasoda in Vidisha district to meet a relative. The incident took place at Raisen Bypass road, when they were returning to Ujjain from Ganjbasoda early on Tuesday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Rajendra Singh Jadaun, his wife Vijaya Jadaun and car driver Vicky. The couple were residents of Basant Vihar colony in Ujjain.
Additional superintendent of police (ASP), Amrit Singh Meena said that all the trio had died on spot. “Prima facie, it seems that the car was running at high speed and collided head on with the truck. A case has been registered. The truck has been seized,” he said.
