Barwani (Madhya Pradesh): Eight couples took resolve to live together again as they held each other's hand following counsel given by District and Sessions Judge Rajesh Gupta at National Lok Adalat organised in district court premises here on Saturday.
The children became witnesses of their parents’ reunion as judges presented fruit plants to eight couples as mementos. The couples said they have realised that mutual estrangement affects social honour and respect. At the same time, their children bear the brunt.
The couples who settled disputes at Lok Adalat included two from Deswalia village while others came from Chitawal, Baghadi, Barwani, Pichodi, Sajwanikham, Talwara Buzurg.
Assistant Sub Inspector Rekha Yadav, counsellor Anita Choyal, constable Asha Dudve, Jamna Baghel, Geeta Kanesh made commendable efforts in couples’ settlement.
