Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the provisional answer keys for seven subjects under the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination 2024, conducted on June 1.
The keys, published on the Commission's official website on Friday night, include provisional answers for both the General Studies and subject-specific papers.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer keys for the subjects of Chemistry, Zoology, Economics, Hindi, Commerce, History and English. The General Studies paper included 50 questions, while the respective subject papers consisted of 100 questions, provided in four different sets.
The MPPSC has also issued a strict five-day deadline for submitting objections or claims regarding the answer key. To raise objections, candidates must submit certified documentary evidence supporting their claim. This includes the name of the book or text, author, and specific page number. All documents must be uploaded through the online portal only, as objections sent via email or post will not be accepted.
A prescribed fee per question has also been set, which must be paid while submitting any challenge. The Commission has made it clear that incomplete or unverified objections will not be considered.
This recruitment drive, part of Phase I, aims to fill 1,618 Assistant Professor posts across 14 subjects, in addition to 187 Sports Officer and 80 Librarian vacancies.
The exam was held across 97 centres in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, and Jabalpur. Out of approximately 44,000 registered candidates, 23,760 appeared for the two-session examination — one for General Studies and the second for the candidate’s chosen subject.
