Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Six people lost their lives, and 17 others were injured when a traveler vehicle collided with a bike and then crashed into a tanker near Mhow on Thursday.

The incident is of Mhow’s Manpur area early Friday morning. The injured were immediately taken to MY Hospital in Indore for treatment.

The accident happened late at night around 3 AM.

The traveler was carrying passengers from Karnataka village in Maharashtra, who were returning after visiting the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain.

Due to the impact, several passengers suffered fractures and other injuries.

Hospital officials reported that a child has been admitted to the PICU, while the rest are being treated for their injuries and are in stable condition.

According to SI Ravi from Manpur police station, two of the deceased were bike riders—Himanshu from Dharampuri and Shubham from Sendhwa.

The other two victims were women traveling in the traveler, but their identities are yet to be confirmed.

The police have started an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

Authorities are urging drivers to be extra cautious, especially while traveling at night, to avoid such tragic incidents.
