Indore: Out of 90 suspected students of MPPMT 2010, issued by Madhya Pradesh Professional Education Board (MPPEB), on Tuesday, 13 students have been studying in MGM Medical College. According to sources, these students have taken admission in the college after clearing the exam in 2010.

Sources further said that three of them had come to light earlier due to various reasons.“One of the students was victim of fake Facebook profile case while another was murdered in 2012 and the third one was already arrested by the STF in connection with the impersonation racket,” sources added.

Those studying in MGM Medical College are Vijay, Balram, Rahul, Poonam, Monica, Akhsay, Rajesh, Namrata, Papita, Abhishek, Neha, Sonu and Nandani. “There would be more students of Indore in the list. The MPPEB has cancelled the results and directed the DME to terminate them,” sources added.

Scrutiny started at MGMMC

It’s to be noted that MPPEB has issued a list of 98 students of MPPMT-2011, which was forwarded by the DME to the MGM Medical College. Out of the 98 students of 2011, seven have taken admission in the MGMMC.  According to college sources, the college administration has constituted a committee for scrutiny of documents and the accused students would be terminated with the immediate effect.

“We have received the list of 2011 and will get the list of 2010 suspected students soon after which they will be terminated,” a senior professor of the medical college said.
