West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's brother has reportedly passed away after a battle with COVID-19. Dr Alok Roy, the Chairman of Kolkata's Medica Superspecialty Hospital said that Ashim Banerjee had been admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. He had been undergoing treatment in the hospital for over a month.
