Cooch Behar: West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh’s vehicle was attacked by miscreants on Thursday at Sitalkuchi area of Cooch Behar district.

Ghosh, who is in the district to take part in the saffron party’s ‘Rathyatra,’ blamed the ruling Trinamool Congress for the attack.

He was attacked when he was on his way to Mathabhanga in the district.

“I was attacked for the 10th time. There were TMC workers who attacked my car and shouted slogans demanding that I should go back. The police, as always, were mute spectators.

Some of my party workers were injured during the violence,” Ghosh said.

The district police administration said they are looking into the matter.
