WCL CMD dies of Heart Attack

Mumbai : Dinesh Chandra Garg, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Western Coalfields Limited expired after prolonged illness on Tuesday at Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad.

His last rites were performed on Wednesday. Garg was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad after he suffered a heart attack. Garg has been known for his administrative acumen and has been the guiding force behind progress and performance of WCL which he headed as CMD for the last seven years. Garg leaves behind his wife Shrimati Shashi Garg, two sons Mudit Garg, Sumit Garg and their families. The officers of the company have expressed grief and solidarity with the family.
