Hyderabad: Road safety rule were flouted in Hyderabad after youngsters performed dangerous stunts on the Outer Ring Road of the city. The entire incident was caught on CCTV. After the video of the incident went viral, two students have been arrested for performing stunts, reported NDTV.

The incident reportedly took place on February 9 in which both drivers were drifting their cars on the road. In the video, it could be seen that a Fortuner was moving in circles using the handbrake on the five-lane road, while a BMW moved away after performing a similar stunt.

As per the police, the drivers had removed the number plates so that cops could not identify them. The incident took place near Shamshabad.

Here Are The Visuals:

"The students were doing stunts in two different cars on the ORR (Outer Ring Road) Shamshabad. The act was captured on the closed-circuit cameras installed on the ORR stretch. A video of the students performing the stunts has gone viral," an official said as reported by NDTV.

It is not the first time that such an incident had surfaced from Hyderabad. Last week, VC Sajjanar, the Managing Director of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, shared video of a boy performing a stunt in his bike with a girl as pillion.

"These are the crazy things done in the name of 'Valentine's Day'!! Some couples are posting videos like this on social media, claiming to have achieved some kind of feat, such as performing amazing stunts on the occasion of Valentine's Day," Sajjanar said in an X post.

"You may find these bizarre stunts performed at high speed and in a dangerous manner to be fun, but imagine what would happen if an unavoidable accident occurred. It is dangerous to perform dangerous stunts on the roads to become famous on social media. Do not cause accidents by doing such adventures and causing distress to your family members," he added.

Notably, Sajjanar is a former additional director of police.
