A video showing a violent confrontation between a husband and wife over the husband’s alleged affair has surfaced online. According to reports, the woman confronted her husband after seeing him roaming with her sister.

In the video, the woman can be seen grabbing her husband by the collar and slapping him repeatedly, while he continues to warn her.

The incident reportedly took place at the Jodhpur Collectorate.

Since the altercation occurred on government premises, bystanders alerted the nearest police station. Officers arrived at the scene and attempted to mediate between the couple. However, when the dispute could not be resolved, both were arrested for breach of peace and taken into custody.

Police reportedly required both parties to sign bonds of Rs 50,000 each and imposed a six-month restraining order before releasing them.

After the video went viral, social media users have been demanding the establishment of a men’s commission, similar to the women’s commission. Many argue that while women have a dedicated platform to address grievances, there is now a growing need for a corresponding body where aggrieved husbands can seek redress.
