Moradabad: What was supposed to be an event to celebrate the completion of eight years of the Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) government on Thursday in Chhajalat block of Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad, turned out be a nasty fight between a former MLA and the block president which escalated and soon the supporter's of the two leaders also got involved.
Former BJP MLA Rajesh Kumar Singh AKA Chunnu and block president Rajpal Singh can be seen in a video that has now gone viral exchanging blows. Soon, supporters of both the leaders kicked and punched each other.
Reason Behind The Clash
According to the reports, the reason for the altercation was about sitting on the chief guest's chair. An argument broke out between the two leaders on the stage, which turned into a brawl. Both the leaders can be seen slapping each other in front of the people present on the stage and pulling each other's hair. Not only this, both threw water bottles and chairs at each other.
Meanwhile, speaking on the eight years of the BJP-led government in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that his government ensured more development of Uttar Pradesh in the last eight years than achieved in 70 years before that.
