Jhansi: A young MBBS student named Sarthak Khanna, from Lucknow's Nirala Nagar, died after falling from the second floor balcony of his hostel at Jhansi Medical College. Sarthak's father is a doctor and his mother runs a school, he is only son of his parents.
Sarthak arrived in Jhansi from Lucknow on Tuesday night. Due to a lack of light in his own room, he was staying in a friend's room in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hostel at Paramedical College.
On Wednesday morning around 7:45 AM, Sarthak went to the balcony and fell approximately 25 feet to the ground in suspicious circumstances, sustaining severe injuries.
He was immediately rushed to the Medical College, where doctors declared him dead. Police and a forensic team are investigating the scene, which showed a significant amount of blood where Sarthak fell. Friends stated that Sarthak was a bright student who had cleared the NEET exam on his first attempt.
