Deoria: Deoria's traffic police conducted a special campaign to prevent accidents, acting under the directives of Superintendent of Police Vikrant Veer. Traffic In-charge Gulab Singh and his team carried out checks across the city.
School Buses Scrutinised for Fitness and Pollution Certificates
During the drive, school buses were inspected for fitness certificates, pollution certificates, and drivers' licenses. Action was also taken against e-rickshaw drivers at Kasaya Dhala and other locations for stopping in the middle of the road to pick up or drop off passengers.
75 E-Challans Issued, Two Vehicles Impounded
The campaign resulted in 75 vehicles receiving e-challans for traffic violations, and two vehicles were seized.
Police also educated drivers on the importance of adhering to traffic rules. This initiative aims to enhance road safety and reduce accidents. Officials urged all drivers to strictly follow traffic regulations.
