A woman was secretely filmed at a hotel owned by BJP MLA near the Maa Vindhyavasini Devi temple at the Vindhyachal Dham in UP's Mirzapur. According to reports, a hotel staff made an obscene video of a woman staying at the BJP MLA's hotel. Police registered a case based on the victim's complaint and arrested the accused. Now politics has started over this matter.
The UP Congress has attacked the BJP-led state government over the incident. In a post on X, the Congress party wrote, "Important notice for the people of the state - A BJP MLA from Mirzapur who calls himself 'Modi's family' - a video is made of a woman bathing in his hotel. Please avoid staying in hotels of BJP leaders. The character and face of BJP and BJP members is now in front of everyone."
According to reports, a woman from Lucknow along with some relatives had stayed at Ratnakar Hotel near Maa Vindhyavasini temple on Wednesday night. The woman went to bathe in the hotel room's bathroom on Thursday morning before visiting Maa Vindhyavasini on Guru Purnima day. During this time, hotel staff member Ashish Mishra was making an objectionable video of the woman through the window behind the bathroom. When the woman realized this, she came out of the bathroom and started screaming.
When the people who came with the woman learned about this, they approached police demanding action. It is being alleged that the police, under pressure from MLA, did not take any action and started trying to broker a compromise.
After showing reluctance, the police finally registered a case based on the woman's complaint in the evening and arrested accused. The woman stated in her complaint that Ashish had made the video and also sent it to Dheeraj Mishra on WhatsApp. Dheeraj Mishra belongs to the family of MLA Ratnakar Mishra.
CO City Vivek Jawla said that a woman had booked a room with her team at a hotel. In the morning, the woman was using her room's bathroom. During this time, a hotel employee took objectionable photos of the woman. Based on the woman's complaint, a case has been registered against the accused hotel employee Ashish Mishra and he has been arrested.
Meanwhile, the photo of the accused who made the video of the woman at Ratnakar Hotel has surfaced. The accused has photos with big politicians of the country. There are photos with Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Kalraj Mishra, MLA Ratnakar Mishra, district DM SP, and also with the hotel owner's family members. The accused also used to arrange darshan and worship for big leaders.
