The CM on Friday linked Pakistan’s ongoing instability to what it called “self-inflicted wounds of terrorism,” while inaugurating the Hanuman Katha Mandapam in Ayodhya. “Nations that nurture violence as state policy ultimately face internal collapse,” the CM remarked, avoiding direct naming but clearly referencing Pakistan during the Hanumangarhi temple event.

The speech also honored Lieutenant Shashank Tiwari, a martyred soldier from Ayodhya, announcing `50 lakh compensation. During the event, the CM also criticized past administrations for neglecting Ayodhya’s infrastructure, contrasting it with recent development projects. “Broken roads and power shortages plagued the city earlier. Now, global devotees visit seamlessly,” he stated. The remarks were part of a broader speech highlighting the city’s cultural revival.

The Hanuman Katha Mandapam, spanning 17,000 sq ft, features a 1,000-sq-ft stage and guest accommodations. Temple authorities described it as a “space to preserve traditions.” The event concluded with ceremonial honors for contributors to the project, attended by local leaders and religious figures.

Temple authorities highlighted the Mandapam’s design—featuring a stage and dedicated guest lodgings—as an effort to accommodate pilgrims. The event concluded with certificates awarded to construction contributors, attended by local legislators and religious leaders. No direct references to political slogans or religious movements were included in the CM’s public statements during the inauguration.
