Even as the Centre continues to be at loggerheads with Twitter, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday expressed displeasure over delay in appointment of grievance redressal officer. The court said that the company was in defiance of the law for not appointing the grievance redressal officer as necessitated under India's new IT Rules.

"How long does your (Twitter's) process take? If Twitter thinks it can take as long as it wants in our country, I'll not allow that," Justice Rekha Palli was quoted as asking.

Further details awaited.
