New Delhi : Senior television journalist Ashutosh is likely to join the Aam Aadmi Party. On Thursday he announced his resignation as the managing editor of a Hindi news channel.

“I have resigned from IBN7, and am inclined to join the AAP,” he said, adding, “I am in touch with them (the party) and they are in touch with me”.

“I think, what AAP is doing is very fabulous and will change Indian politics and will have a positive impact on society.” He tweeted, “Yes I have resigned. Eight years back I changed my course, now there is another time, another call of destiny. Life is beautiful and unpredictability makes it more enchanting. I am living one of those moments.”

Interestingly, the party has also approached social activist Medha Patkar. “She (Patkar) met Yogendra Yadav on Wednesday and was formally asked to join the party. She said she will talk to her people before taking any decision,” Anjali Damania, AAP’s Maharashtra convenor said.
