Gandhinagar: A trailer for general elections 2019 unfolded in Rajkot, on Wednesday when the national oppositional youth triumvirate of Kanhaiya Kumar, Hardik Patel and Jignesh Mevani used Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani’s home town to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Kanhaiya Kumar has emerged as the national beachhead against BJP while Patel has been spearheading the Patidar revolt against the Modi-led party with Mevani as the third angle of the Dalit opposition triangle. Participating in the “Samvidhan Bachao, Desh Bachao’ programme in Rajkot on Wednesday, the threesome charge prime minister Modi with tarnishing the image of Gujarat in national esteem.

The three had come together alongside Indranil Rajyaguru, a former Congress legislator.”You can witness yourself how constitutional institutions are being destroyed,” Kanhaiya said adding “I am astounded how the head of the BJP IT cell comes to know the dates of an election before it is declared by the Election Commission.

Kindly look at some facts.” Kumar said the Enforcement department of the centre starts grilling Robert Vadra soon after Priyanka Gandhi is given responsibility of eastern UP where the ED sat for half a decade.” Hang them if they are guilty but the Constitution of India should not be subverted to meet narrow ends, Kumar says.
