Train services between Surat and Vadodara were disrupted on Monday due to trees falling on the tracks at multiple locations in the Vadodara Division, following heavy rain and strong winds.

Western Railway issued a notification stating that while some trains were temporarily regulated, operations resumed only after ensuring all necessary safety measures.

Issuing a notification on social media X, WR wrote, Train operations on both Up and Down lines between Surat and Vadodara have been affected due to trees falling at some locations in the Vadodara Division, caused by heavy wind and rain.

Some trains have been regulated temporarily, and are running after ensuring all safety aspects.
