TMC Rajya Sabha MP Saket Gokhale hit out at Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday with a 'Tadipar' jibe.

Responding to an X post by TMC, Gokhale wrote, "If BSF wishes, any infiltrator can be made TADIPAR within a day. But, of course, Amit Shah doesn't want that."

"Because how else will his party play out their dirty political agenda in Bengal?" he added.

Earlier, taking to social media, TMC attacked Amit Shah over the Centre's decision to extend BSF's jurisdiction in West Bengal and reduce it in Gujarat.

"So, in Bengal, Amit Shah's Home Ministry extended BSF's jurisdiction from 15 km to 50 km. But in Gujarat, they reduced it from 80 km to 50 km. Interesting priorities," TMC said.

"And now, when BSF fails in its actual job to secure the borders, he conveniently blames GoWB. Instead of fixing his own mess, he's busy passing the buck. Classic!" it added.
