Hyderabad: A disturbing incident surfaced from Telangana’s Jagtial, where a specially-abled man was forcibly removed from the Collector's office by staff. The incident, which took place during a public grievance session, was recorded on camera.

The man has been identified as Raja Gangaram. He is a resident of Muthyampet village in Mallapur mandal. For the past eight years, Gangaram had been pleading for a road to his home, reported News18.

Video Of The Incident:

He had also reportedly submitted a complaint to Collector Satyaprasad. Notably, the collector had promised to act on his complaint. However, no progress was made.

On Monday, Gangaram came to the Collector's office. He waited there near the grievance area. In the viral video, it could be seen that the man was sitting in a wheelchair when staff members of the Collector's office approached him.

One of the staff members pulled him by his leg, while two other staff members held the specially-abled man by her arms. Others pushed his wheelchair from behind. As the man was pulled by his leg, he was unseated from the wheelchair. Later, the staff members, instead of helping the man get back into the wheelchair, dragged him towards the exit gate.

As the video went viral, netizens slammed the authorities. One of the X users called it ' inhumane', while another lashed out at the Congress government in the state.

The man could be seen resisting them. As per the News18 report, after the video surfaced, Telangana Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar ordered a resolution of Gangaram's problem.
