Chennai: Tamil Nadu Congress Committee working president Mohan Kumaramangalam on Wednesday put out an anguished tweet on the murder of his mother Kitty Kumaramangalam in New Delhi. He said his mother was killed on his birthday.
“The most independent and powerful woman I knew, the one who taught me right from wrong, who raised me to be who I am, who suffered through my pain, laughed loudest for my joy, loved me unconditionally, left this realm on the date she gave birth to me,” he tweeted.
Mohan’s father Rangarajan Kumaramangalam was a well known Congress leader from Tamil Nadu before he joined the BJP and was made a Cabinet Minister in the Vajpayee Government. He had died in office.
