Surat Station Redevelopment: Trains To Resume Operations From April 1 As Phase-II Work Completes

In view of this, most of the trains that were temporarily shifted to alternate stations will resume operations at Surat station from 1st April, 2025.

Surat station is undergoing complete transformation & is being developed into world class station. The concourse work in connection with the Surat Station Redevelopment on Platform No. 2 & 3 (Phase – II) has been completed.

In view of this, most of the trains that were temporarily shifted to alternate stations will resume operations at Surat station from 1st April, 2025.

According to  Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, Phase II of ongoing Surat redevelopment work on Platform No. 2 & 3 has been completed. Most of the trains that were temporarily shifted to alternate stations due to the block undertaken in view of this work, will resume operations from 1st April, 2025. It is however informed that all Tapti line trains (to & from Nandurbar/Jalgaon) will continue to halt at Udhna station.
