Sitapur: In a shocking accident on Wednesday, March 26, a bus full of passengers went out of control and overturned in a ditch on the side of the road, reportedly killing one person and severely injuring six others. The accident occurred when a bus collided with a bike rider while overtaking.
As per reports, the identity of the deceased person has not been revealed yet. The police quickly reached the site after receiving the information and rescued the remaining people from the bus and sent them to a community health center for treatment.
More Details About the Accident
As per media reports, the incident took place near the Laharpur Kotwali. The private bus was carrying passengers from Laharpur to Tambour, before it rammed into a biker near the Lalpur village and overturned. More than half a dozen passengers were injured in the accident.
The police confirmed the death of an unidentified individual in the accident. Locals, alerted by the screams, swiftly rushed to the scene and informed the authorities.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the site and sent the injured bus passengers to a CHC for treatment. Doctors later declared one person dead, while several others are currently being treated at the hospital.
