Nuh: At least ten people were injured in a clash between two communities on Tuesday evening in Haryana’s Nuh district, following a minor dispute over parking.
What began as a heated argument quickly escalated into a violent altercation. Heated arguments led to pushing and shoving, which soon turned into physical fights and stone pelting.
Sticks and batons were also used in the clash. At least ten people from both communities suffered serious injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The conflict involved residents from Mundaka and Hajipur villages in Nuh. During the violence, a two-wheeler was also set on fire and shops were vandalised.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Kumar commented on the incident, saying, "Around 4 PM, a dispute broke out between two youths on the road. Soon, 4–5 boys from both sides gathered, leading to a scuffle. During this, some mischievous elements attempted to disrupt the peace. However, due to the timely intervention of the police, the situation was brought under control before it could escalate further."
He added, "So far, there is information about 3 to 4 people being injured. Two suspects have been identified. The injured individuals have lodged complaints, based on which an FIR has been registered. Further action is underway. This incident took place in Mundaka village, located on the Haryana-Rajasthan border. The situation is currently under control."
