Jaipur, June 11: Making fun of the alleged claim of BJP leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi of an offer to join BJP, the former deputy CM of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot said ‘Rita might have talked to Tendulkar. She cannot dare to talk to me.’ In the meantime, Pilot left for Delhi from Jaipur on Friday and he is likely to meet AICC general secretory Priyanka Gandhi and other senior leaders of the party.

While talking to the media in Jaipur, he strongly criticized the policies of the Central Government regarding the prices of petroleum products. On the question of BJP leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi’s claim of a call to him and offering him to join BJP, Pilot said ‘ I’ve heard about it, that Rita Bahuguna Joshi had said that he talked to Sachin, but she might have talked to Tendulkar. she cannot dare to talk to me.’

It is to note that after expressing his displeasure on not fulfilling the promises made to him by the party, Sachin Pilot is actively participating in party activities and relying strongly on the statements of BJP leaders. He participated in the party’s agitation against inflation and sit on a dharna at a petrol pump in Jaipur. He had also cancelled the event in Dousa district that took place every year on the death anniversary of his father Rajesh Pilot, although the reason given behind cancellation is Covid.

Although Pilot did not accompany the leaders of Gehlot faction in agitation against inflation where state party president and some ministers were present and choose another petrol pump where leaders of only his camp were present. Sources in the party say that his actions are suggesting that he might have differences on certain issues which he expresses time and again but he will remain in the party and that is what his loyalists MLAs had voiced on Thursday after meeting with Pilot.

Sachin had left for Delhi on Friday afternoon and sources said that he is likely to meet AICC General secretory Priyanka Gandhi and some other senior leaders of the party as his demands to be decided by party high command, so now focus shifts to Delhi.

In the meantime, one more MLA of Pilot’s camp Hemaram Choudhary met him today at his residence. It is to note to Hemaram had resigned in May from the assembly and has not taken back his resignation till now. He said that things have not changed and I am firm on my decision of not taking back the resignation.
