Lucknow: Reacting sharply to the acquittal of all accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched a blistering attack on the Congress, accusing the party of maligning Hindu saints and patriots by propagating the term "saffron terror."
In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister wrote: “The acquittal of all accused in the Malegaon blast case is a living proclamation of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ (truth alone triumphs). This verdict once again exposes the anti-Bharat, anti-justice, and anti-Sanatan character of Congress, which defamed millions of devotees, saints, and patriots by fabricating the false narrative of 'saffron terrorism'.”

Calling the episode an “unpardonable crime,” Yogi Adityanath demanded that the Congress tender a public apology for its attempt to politicize terrorism and hurt the sentiments of crores of Indians.
